Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LinkList handles the data you process while using our reconnaissance engine.

1. Data the Tool Collects

As a stateless scanning tool, the data lifecycle within LinkList is localized to your immediate session:

  • Scan Targets: The URLs, headers, and custom configurations you input are processed directly by our scanning backend during the session. They are not stored permanently.
  • Recon Data: The results of your scans (including scraped APIs, DOM trees, and contact intelligence) are streamed directly to your browser memory over Server-Sent Events (SSE).

2. Contact Intelligence and PII

Our "Contact Recon" feature acts as an algorithmic scraper, strictly identifying publicly posted email addresses and phone numbers on the web.

We do not store, aggregate, sell, or broker this Personally Identifiable Information (PII). By running the tool, you become the active data processor. You are solely responsible for ensuring your extraction of this data complies with GDPR, CCPA, and anti-spam legislation (e.g., CAN-SPAM).

3. Telemetry and Logging

We may monitor global traffic routing and bandwidth consumption (e.g., IP addresses connecting to our crawler infrastructure) for abuse-prevention, rate limiting, and debugging purposes. Individual scan results are not logged.
